April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Passenger transportation services by air in Azerbaijan in March 2024 increased in price by 8.7% compared with February 2024.

This March, passenger air transport services fell by 11.2% versus March 2023, and for Jan-Mar - by 19%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

782,100 passengers (or 45.1%) were transported by air, 99.9% of transportation was carried out by state-owned enterprises, and 0.1% by private enterprises. Cargo transportation by this type of transport increased by 13% up to 94,500 tons.
