March 12, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 1, 2024, the number of people employed in the field of furniture production in Azerbaijan reached 7,908 people (417 people, or 33.3% less versus the same term of 2023), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

As of January 1, 2023, the number of people employed in the furniture industry amounted to 7,491 people.

In the furniture industry, 2 people are employed in the public sector, and 7,906 people are employed in the private sector.

Last year, 3 people worked in the public sector, and 7,489 people worked in the private sector.
