March 11, Fineko/abc.az. An identification fund to support startups will be created in Azerbaijan by the end of 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that Yevgeniya Bikmurzina, head of the Innovation Ecosystem Department of the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development (IRIA), said about this at a press conference devoted to agency's activity for 2023 and upcoming tasks.

She also told about plans to create a startup support fund for Azerbaijani founders in the amount of $10 million in 2024.

"The goals for the current year also include 38 investment deals by angel investors and venture funds and the launch of another angel investor club," Bikmurzina said.
