February 15, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2023, the number of foreigners and stateless persons with extended work permits valid in the country, issued for paid employment, amounted to 9,438 people.

ABC.AZ reports that 47.6% of them had work permits in construction, 10.2% - in mining, 7.5% - in manufacturing, 6.3% - in tourist accommodation and catering, 4.2% - in education, 4.1% - in trade; 20.1% - in vehicle repair and other industries.
