India to send a humanoid robot into space

February 5, Fineko/abc.az. India plans to send a humanoid robot called Vyommitra into space in the third quarter of 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of State Jitendra Singh, who oversees the nuclear and space industry in the Government of India, stated about this to journalists.

The robot has a female image, knows several languages and answers many questions, including questions about the technical condition of the ship.

"The Vyommitra astronaut is designed to simulate human functions in the space environment and interact with life support systems," the Minister of State noted.
