Share of working-age population in liberated lands to exceed 73%

January 9, Fineko/abc.az. At the first stage of the Great Return Program, 1,293 people are to be resettled in the liberated territories, and 73% of them are able-bodied.

ABC.AZ reports that Mustafa Abbasbeyli, the chairman of board at the State Employment Agency, said about this at a briefing.

He added that the indicator is about 94,400 people, including 19.2% of whom have professions, and 76,300 people are unskilled.

Abbasbeyli recalled that 4,691 people, including 3,116 of working age, have been resettled to the liberated territories to this day:

"1,934 people are economically active, 1,123 people aged 0-14 years, 452 people over 65 years old, and the number of qualified specialists is 977 people, the number of employed is 1,138 people, or 36.5% of the working-age population."

Agency’s chair stressed that within the Great Return, employment centers’ activity is also restored, and a roadmap has been developed for organization of professional training of citizens.
