January 8, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned to increase the length of the Baku road network by about 368.7 km by 2040.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Baku City Master Plan until 2040.

"By 2040, the length of the Baku city street and road network will increase to about 368.7 km, and the total length of the street and road network from 2,300 km to 2,668 km," the document says.

By the end of 2027, it is planned to build a new main highway connecting the cities of Baku and Sumgait in order to fundamentally solve the problem of the northern entrance and exit of the capital.
