December 12, Fineko/abc.az. A three-year strategic plan has been prepared for the phased restoration of passenger transportation along routes and destinations that existed before the coronavirus pandemic, ABC.AZ report, quoting Azerbaijan Railways CJSC chairman Rovshan Rustamov.

He added that work is underway to launch Yevlakh-Balaken railway line.

"The state of the road infrastructure in the southern direction does not allow us to provide high-quality services there. This year we launched Baku-Gabala route with length of 309 km. We have also extended Baku-Ganja route by another 95 km to Aghstafa," Rustamov said.
