November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2023, Georgia exported 19,820 cars for $371.98 million to Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

Over the first 9 months of 2023, the number of cars exported to Azerbaijan decreased by 5,276 vehicles or 21.02% year-on-year, and the cost increased by $126.78 million or 51.7%.

Thus, Georgia exported 25,096 cars for $245.2 million to Azerbaijan for Jan-Oct 2022.

In the 3rd quarter of 2023, Georgia exported cars for $1.76 million (2.65-fold more in annual terms).

This year, the car became the main export commodity of Georgia, and accounted for 34.5% of the country's total exports.
