60,900 new jobs created in 9 months — Report

November 20, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2023, 60,900 new jobs were created in the country.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the number of new jobs increased almost by 9,100 (by 17.6%) compared with Jan-Sept 2022 - 51,800.

92.6% of the jobs created during this period were opened in the non-state sector.

80.4% of the jobs created are located in Baku, 1.2% in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 18.4% in other regions, including 3.6% in Absheron-Khizi, 2.7% in Guba-Khachmaz, 1.9% in Ganja-Dashkesan, 1.8% in Sheki-Zagatala, 1.5% in Gazakh-Tovuz, 1.4% in Central Aran, 1.4% in Shirvan-Salyan, 1.2% in Karabakh, 0.9% in Lankaran-Astara, 0.9% in Eastern Zangezur, 0.6% in Nagorny Shirvan and 0.5% in Mil-Mugan economic districts.
