November 3, Fineko/abc.az. A proposal has been made to abolish the annual limit on the use of natural gas at a low tariff for gas consumers from the "population" category.

ABC.AZ reports that MP Tahir Kerimli made such a proposal at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis committees.

“We have opportunities for this. Therefore, I suggest to lift the limit on the use of natural gas," he said.

On October 16, 2021, at a meeting of the Tariff Council, a decision was made to change tariffs for natural gas. The annual consumption tariffs for the population in the amount of up to 1,200 cu m were increased from 10 to 12 gapiks. Gas tariffs on other categories of consumers have been increased from 20 to 22 gapiks.
