Production at ACG declined almost by 12%

November 2, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter of 2023, stable production at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) field complex continued safely and reliably, but daily production fell almost by 12%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the statement of BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited.

The total production of ACG in the first three quarters – together with the platforms Chirag (23,000), Central Azeri (96,000), Western Azeri (89,000), Eastern Azeri (59,000), Deepwater Guneshli (67,000) and Western Chirag (34,000) – averaged 368,000 b/d, or about 100 million b/d, that is, it was 14 million tons.

Total ACG production for the first three quarters of 2022 – together with the Chirag (25,000), Central Azeri (105,000), Western Azeri (108,000), Eastern Azeri (63,000), Deepwater Guneshli (77,000) and Western Chirag (40,000) platforms – averaged 418,000 b/d, or about 114 million barrels or 15 million tons.
