October 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Audiovisual Council has held an extraordinary meeting.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Council that the meeting discussed the appeals of Baku TV LLC and Azerbaijan TV & Radio Broadcasting CJSC to the Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan for creation of information support for the population living in the region and ensure reintegration of the region into the national information space, as well as to obtain licenses.

Taking into account the urgency of creating objective and operational information support for the population living in the territory of Karabakh Economic Region, the Audiovisual Council decided to grant nationwide licenses to Baku TV LLC (a license for a broadcaster of a satellite broadcasting platform) and Azerbaijan TV & Radio Broadcasting CJSC (a license for terrestrial radio broadcasting).
