September 14, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia's external public debt reached $8.568 bn, ABC.AZ was informed at the Georgian Ministry of Finance.

This year, Georgia's debt has increased by $876.765 million.

Information on debt is reflected in the statistics of Georgia for August 2023. The amount of debt is equivalent to 22.528 bn lari at the current exchange rate.

Although the country's external public debt has increased this year, it has declined by $27 million against July.

The largest creditors of Georgia are the Asian Development Bank, the European Investment Bank and the International Development Bank.
