August 25, Fineko/abc.az. Benchmark oil prices are rising at the auction on Friday.

The price of October futures for Brent crude on the London ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.28 (0.34%) by 09:35 to $83.64 per barrel. As a result of trading on August 24, Brent oil futures for October rose by $0.15 (0.18%) to $83.36 per barrel.

The cost of WTI oil futures for October in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:35 rose by $0.31 (0.39%) to $79.36 per barrel. As a result of trading on August 24, the price of the October futures for WTI oil rose by $0.16 (0.20%) to $79.05 per barrel.

Since the start of the week, Brent has lost 1.5% and WTI oil has lost 2.4%.
