As of August 1 of this year, 90.4% of commercial legal entities accepted for state registration were created in the form of a limited liability company, 1.3% were created in a form of a joint-stock company, and 1.1%  are in a form of a cooperative, etc.

The number of active VAT payers as part of commercial organizations under state registration for this period amounted to 32,934, an increase of 15% year-on-year, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service.

In July 2023, the number of legal entities whose operations were activated (restored) increased by 34.3% compared to July 2022, and the number of VAT payers with their operations activated increased by 0.7%.
