June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia exported 12,916 cars for $189.18 million to Azerbaijan for Jan-May 2023.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Georgian National Statistics Office’s report, this year the cost of cars exported to Azerbaijan is $92.55 million or 95.7% against Jan-May 2022, and their number is by 1,239 cars or 10.6% more.

In the first 5 months of 2022, Georgia exported 11,677 cars for $96.63 million to Azerbaijan.

This year, cars for totally $1.15 bn were exported from Georgia (85.4% more year-on-year). Azerbaijan's share in the export of Georgian cars this year was about 18%. Car exports made up 17.3% of Georgia's total exports.
