May 16, Fineko/abc.az. From today, the Georgian section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line is closed for an indefinite period, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian press.

The reason for the closure of the Georgian section of the railway is the acceleration of the pace of construction of the section by the general contractor and the completion of the project in a short time.

The construction of the railway began in 2008.
