May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Food products for AZN 16.4 bn were sold to consumers in the retail trade network of Azerbaijan for Jan-Apr 2023.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that foods, beverages and tobacco products for AZN 9.5 bn and non-food products for AZN 6.9 bn were sold in the retail chain.
Compared with Jan-Apr 2022, retail trade turnover increased by 2.9% in real terms, including 2.1% for foods, beverages and tobacco products and 4% for non-food products.
One person of the population bought on average for 404.7 manats per month in the retail trade network, including food products, beverages and tobacco products for 236.9 manats, and non-food products for 187.4 manats.
