15:18 - 5.05.2023

May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Negotiations have begun on UK's free trade agreements with Australia and New Zealand after Brexit.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that the agreements will come into force in all three countries from the night of May 31, 2023.

According to British government’s statement, free trade agreements are expected to increase bilateral trade with Australia by 53% in the long-term prospect and with New Zealand by 59%.

It is assumed that both trade agreements will eliminate customs duties on the export of all British goods so that manufacturers can export them in a more competitive way, which will make life and work easier for British specialists in these countries.
