Cotton exports more than doubled

April 28, Fineko/abc.az. Electricity was the leader in the list of exported goods of the non-oil sector ($281.1 million), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Center for Analysis & Communication of Economic Reforms.

In this list, export of hazelnuts ($37 million versus $39.5 million last year) took the 2nd place, and polypropylene of the initial form ($36 million versus $31.1 million last year) - 3rd place.

In the 1st quarter of this year, there was reduction in the volume of the most exported agricultural products. So, cotton was exported for $31.3 million ($72.2 million) and tomatoes for $31.2 million ($38.8 million last year).
