April 26, Fineko/abc.az. Participants of World War II will be paid lump-sum financial aid.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant order.

Under the order, the participants of WWII (1941-1945) will be paid lump-sum financial aid of 1,500 manats, and widows of soldiers who died during WWII or died later, persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear during this period, employees of special units who performed tasks in the interests of the army and navy in to the rear of the fronts or in the combat areas of the warring flotillas, awarded the appropriate medal and badge for the defense of the city of Leningrad during WWII, and also to the participants of the siege of Leningrad – in the amount of 750 manats.
