March 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2023, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $7.17 bn, including exports for $4.52 bn and imports for $2.65 bn, and the positive balance totaled $1.869 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

For Jan-Feb 2022 Azerbaijan's foreign trade operations amounted to $7.94 bn, including exports for $5.967 bn and imports for $1.97 bn, and the positive balance reached $3.995 bn.

Thus, for Jan-Feb 2023, Azerbaijan's exports decreased, imports increased, and the surplus more than halved.
