March 2, Fineko/abc.az. Consistent social reforms also ensure a regular increase in the minimum monthly wage, and over the past five years an increase of 2.7-fold has been achieved in this direction, ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection.

This growth also made it possible to take an important step towards bringing the indicator related to the ratio of the net minimum monthly wage (345 manats) to the net average monthly wage (839.4 manats as of 1 January 2023) in line with advanced international standards.

This figure has increased from 26.5% in 2018 to 41.1% currently. So, in 2018-2022, this indicator increased by 14.6%.
