February 22, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published statistical data of the highest-paid industries. Areas where salaries have grown relatively less have also become known.

ABC.AZ reports that the weakest wage growth last year was recorded in the mining industry (in particular, the oil and gas sector), in the finance and insurance sector, as well as trade.

Salaries in the oil and gas sector increased by only 6.4%, but in total terms by almost 200 manats and amounted to 3,284 manats - this is, as always, the highest salary in the economy.

And in the sphere of finance and insurance, salaries in 2022 increased by 6.9% and exceeded the psychological threshold of 2000 manats. Such weak wage growth is due to the fact that the sector attracts new labor with low wages.

And the trade sector is traditionally the lowest paid in the country - even after an increase of 7.25 manats, the monthly salary here is 575 manats.
