January 11, Fineko/abc.az. "Since January 2023, the amendments made to the Labor Code of Azerbaijan have come into force. They provide for the introduction of incentive mechanisms, as well as benefits for employers and those who have settled and work in the territories liberated from occupation - in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur."

ABC.AZ reports that economist, MP Vugar Bayramov wrote about this in his Facebook account.

He noted that concept "a specialist working in the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, liberated from occupation" was added to the Labor Code.

"This category includes employees who have graduated from vocational, specialized secondary and higher educational institutions, have at least two years of work experience over the past five years and work on the basis of an employment contract in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan. These citizens, in addition to allowances to their monthly official salary, will be able to receive a lump-sum allowance of 600 manats annually. In addition, they will be entitled to five additional days of vacation every year," the MP said.
