January 6, Fineko/abc.az. With the latest decree, Azerbaijan exceeded the minimum wage threshold of $200 for the first time in the history of independence, ABC.AZ reports, citing MP Vugar Bayramov.

He noted that the minimum wage will exceed the subsistence minimum set for this year by 40.2%.

"This order will also create a basis for growth in other areas. The latest decree once again confirms that social security issues will also be a priority in 2023. The increase in social programs will continue throughout the year," the MP added.
