October 17, Fineko/abc.az. Average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan increased by 14.3% for Jan-Aug 2022, compared with the same period of 2021, according to the State Statistics Committee.

Over the first 8 months of 2022 the average monthly nominal salary in Azerbaijan amounted to 829 manats.

The average salary in the oil & gas sector for the reporting period amounted to 3,486 manats, and in the nonoil and nongas sector - 778 manats.

Employees of state-owned enterprises received an average of 780 manats, and employees of private enterprises - 885 manats.
