October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The age category is not indicated in 20% of job ads in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Sannur Aliyev, deputy chairman of board of the National Observatory on Labor Market & Social Protection.

"But the average age for women required for employment is 30 years, and for men – 35. People aged 20 to 25 who are just entering the labor market have a 4.6% chance of finding a job, that is, every first person out of 25 can find a job," Aliyev said.

He added that head offices of the employer companies are mainly located in Baku, so 92% of employers are concentrated in the capital.

"Next comes the Absheron Peninsula, Sumgait comes out ahead with 1.2%. And in other cities, the ratio of employers fluctuates around 1%," he said.
