September 2, Fineko/abc.az. "Azerbaijan has accumulated arrears on natural gas, which is used by 30-35% of internally displaced gas consumers. It is impossible to write off this debt, and we will demand its payment from this category of consumers," ABC.AZ reports, citing gas supplier Azerigaz’s general director Ruslan Aliyev.

"Previously, IDPs were provided with special limits when paying for gas, corresponding to the summer and winter season. Over the past two years, a specific amount has been provided for the limit corresponding to the season. That is, the State provided a certain amount of gas to IDPs free of charge. But the latter spent more than this limit. If the spending limit is exceeded, payment must be made. This does not apply to all consumers of this category. Approximately 60-65% pays for the volume of gas consumed," he said.
