Fruit and vegetable export abroad declined, but their cost increased

June 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 192,263.4 tons of fruits and vegetables for $219.2 million to foreign countries for Jan-May 2022.

According to State Customs Committee’s report, compared with Jan-May 2021, the value of exported fruits and vegetables grew by 6.3% and volumes decreased by 10.1%.

The exported fruits and vegetables included mainly tomatoes, hazelnuts, apples, dates, potatoes and pomegranates.
