June 7, Fineko/abc.az. According to June’s issue of the Export Review, Azerbaijan's exports totaled $15.4 bn for Jan-May 2022.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications that the nonoil sector totaled $1.2 bn for Jan-May of this year.

Compared with Jan-May 2021, exports in the nonoil sector grew by $280.6 million or 30.9%.

Over Jan-May 2022, fruit & vegetable exports increased by 6.4% (versus Jan-May 2021) up to $219.2 million. Exports of chemical industry products grew by 8 times, aluminum and aluminum products by 2 times, ferrous metals and products made from them by 49.8%, cotton yarn by 23.7% and cotton fiber by 14.5%.
