April 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 7,456 tons of pharmaceutical products for $163.37 million for Jan-Mar 2022.

The State Customs Committee informs that the cost of imports increased by 44.3% and the volume by 15.5% against Jan-Mar 2021.

In March 2022, the country imported 43,862 tons of these products for $2.755 million (39.7% less in value terms and 21.7% more in volume terms versus February).

In the 1st quarter of this year the import of pharmaceutical products made up 5.58% of the total imports of Azerbaijan.
