April 13, Fineko/abc.az. China's foreign trade data for the first quarter shows that country's trade with Russia and Ukraine has grown despite the war.
ABC.AZ reports that despite the war between Russia and Ukraine, which began at the end of February and continued throughout March, China increased trade with these two countries in the 1st quarter of the year.
While China is increasing trade with the two countries in yuans, the Beijing administration said that economic cooperation with both countries remains at the usual level.
The total volume of trade with Russia grew to 243.03 bn yuans ($38.18 bn) for Jan-Mar. So, this is 27.8% more than a year earlier. Trade turnover with Ukraine increased to 29.6 bn yuans, a rise of 10.6%.
