April 6, Fineko/abc.az. According to Atlas VPN researchers, the total amount of funds stolen by hackers from blockchain platforms worldwide amounted to a record $1.3 billion in the 1st quarter, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Kommersant.

The 1st quarter also became a record on the number of attacks – 78 (136% more against Q1 of the previous year). Previously, the record for the number of attacks was held by the 1st quarter of 2019 – 62.

Atlas VPN researchers urge all investors and potential investors in crypto projects to pay increased attention to blockchain security issues.
