March 29, Fineko/abc.az. Trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan amounted to $248,812,500 over Jan-Feb 2022, according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

For the past 2 months Azerbaijan, with a share of 9.8% in the total turnover of Georgia, took the 3rd place among the trading partners of the neighboring country after Turkey and Russia.

Georgia's exports to Azerbaijan increased by 39.1% up to $92,336,200 and imports from Azerbaijan by 55.5% up to $156,476,400.

In 2021, the two countries’ trade turnover exceeded $1.1 bn (7.9% of Georgia's foreign trade).
