March 16, Fineko/abc.az. The sanctions imposed against Russia have also begun to cause serious damage to the country's IT system. Specialists from Russia have already started applying to the IT sector of Azerbaijan for work and migration.
This was announced by Osman Gunduz, an expert on the IT sector, the head of the Azerbaijani Internet Forum.
The point is that previously known as Mail.ru Group and now VK holding (VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru , M.Games, etc.) will face a technical default due to the inability to pay the owners of securities.
VK Holding's activities on the London Stock Exchange have been suspended since 3 March as part of sanctions against Russia, and at the moment it does not have the financial means to cover all obligations.
If bondholders demand early repayment of all debts owed to them, venture capital may not have enough money for this, which will lead to a technical default.
