March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan has held a meeting.

ABC.AZ reports that a range of issues were discussed at the meeting.

As the first question, the results of the competition for the opening of the national radio channel (107.0 MHz in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula), held from 17 January to 17 February 2022, were announced. After lengthy discussions, it was decided to announce information center Real-Analysis (radio channel Real FM) as the winner of the competition, which has higher potential than other participants in terms of technical capabilities, compatibility of the broadcasting concept and professional staff.

The second issue on the agenda was the allotting of new frequencies in the regions for channel Radio TMB. In this regard, the opinions of technical specialists of the Council's staff were listened to.
