March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Sanctions against Russia continue. Large firms and companies either freeze their activities in Russia or stop exporting to Russia.
Google has also stopped advertising online sales in Russia.
Along with this, the use of Google Maps, a map application, has also been suspended in the region due to the war between Ukraine and Russia.
"Under emergency circumstances, we suspend Google advertising in Russia. The situation is developing rapidly, and we’ll continue to publish updates," the company said in a statement.
Social media giants Twitter and Snap have also stopped advertising in this country, joining the sanctions against Russia.
