March 4, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has ordered on provision of financial assistance to labor pensioners.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that by an order until 1 January 2022, labor pensioners receiving allowances for the length of service assigned to retirement will be paid monthly financial assistance in the amount of 10% of the monthly pension amount in 2022 (taking into account allowances for service experience).

The financial aid will be calculated from 1 January 2022 every month together with the amount of the pension. The financial assistance for January and February will be provided together with a pension for March.

In order to provide financial aid to pensioners receiving superannuation allowances in the amount of 10% of their pension, the State Budget will allocate this year additional funds in the amount of AZN 86 million a year.

This financial assistance applies to 100,000 pensioners of the relevant category.
