February 23, Fineko/abc.az. The average price of a new car in the U.S. decreased by $839 (compared with December) to $46,404, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Cox Automotive.

The indicator shows negative dynamics for the first time in more than a year.

"The jump in prices for new cars seems to have overcome the peak," said Michelle Kerbs, chief analyst at Com Automotive.

However, as the expert added, despite forecasts of an increase in car supplies, the situation in the market, in which the supply does not meet demand, is going to keep in the 1st half of the year.
