February 9, Fineko/abc.az. According to statistical data, compared with previous years, foreigners are massively trying to get rid of their property in Armenia.

ABC.AZ reports that the unstable political and economic situation in Armenia has led to the outflow of foreigners from the country.

According to the statistics on the purchase and sale of real estate in Armenia, last year the sales of real estate by foreigners in Armenia increased by more than 2-3 times compared with previous years.

Thus, in 2021, 4,742 real estate purchase and sale transactions were made by foreigners in Armenia. 1,587 properties were purchased and 3,155 ones were sold. That is, foreigners sold 2-fold more objects than they purchased in Armenia.

And this is already a sign that foreigners in Armenia have lost their trust in the country and they want to leave the country soon. Foreigners investing in agriculture in Armenia are already trying to leave the country. Last year, five land plots suitable for agriculture were acquired by foreign citizens in Armenia. 516 plots of this type were sold in exchange by foreigners. That is, the interest of foreign citizens in Armenian agricultural lands has already sharply decreased.
