February 9, Fineko/abc.az. Samsung Electronics has introduced a new integrated circuit for fingerprint protection - S3B512C - with improved security features.
ABC.AZ reports that the scheme is integrated with the world's first hybrid payment card chip.
This chip, S3B512C, stores information in the security module and analyzes it using the built-in processor.
Although initially the novelty was intended only for bank cards, in the future it is planned to use it in gadgets. The chips are compatible with any device that requires biometric authentication.
