A Russian company to be operator of railway line connecting Azerbaijan and Armenia

February 3, Fineko/abc.az. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has revealed some details of the railway line to connect Azerbaijan and Armenia.

ABC.AZ reports that at the government meeting Pashinyan's deputy Mher Grigoryan also spoke about this railway.

He noted that the South Caucasus Railway Company (a subsidiary of Russian Railways) will become the operator of railway line Arazdeen-Julfa-Ordubad-Meghri-Goradiz to connect the territories of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“In connection with the restoration of the railway, we’ll have regular bilateral contacts, since the infrastructure operator is the South Caucasus Railway," Grigoryan underlined.
