February 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani-Hungarian Business Forum is taking place in Baku.
ABC.AZ informs that delivering speech at the forum, Alat Free Economic Zone’s chairman of board Valeh Aleskerov noted that the AFEZ development strategy consists of several stages.
According to Aleskerov, the first stage - the construction of external infrastructure - was completed in March 2021, construction of 60 hectares of territory began in April, and in July the construction of a business center was launched.
"The physical development program continues, and we plan to build and commission the internal infrastructure in July 2022 within Stage 1. After the completion of the 1st stage of infrastructure development, we’ll have an area of 60 hectares with ready external and internal infrastructure, a customs checkpoint and the main entrance to the AFEZ," Aleskerov said.
