February 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan capital has observed growth on prices for foods since last month.

ABC.AZ conducted a research in this regard in some markets.

It turned out that food prices increased not by 0.5 or 0.10 manats, but by 0.50-0.80 manats or more.

For example, chicken meat, which cost 5 manats until December 2021, is sold for 8.60 manats, Patron 4D sunflower seeds, which cost 0.30 manats, have now risen up to 0.70 manats, chicken fillet for 4 manats has risen up to 7 manats. The price increase does not end there. Bread, which used to be sold for 0.60 manats, now costs 1 manat.

Meat is another example. Beef, which cost 9 or 10 manats last year, is now mainly offered at 12 or 13 manats.
