January 31, Fineko/abc.az. A dangerous pest has been found in Komi in wooden materials with volume of 115 cu m intended for export to Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ was informed at the North Sea Interregional Department of the Federal Service for Veterinary & Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) that after the pest was detected, the product was sent to quarantine.
The product owner is instructed to store wood materials in an isolated place and take the necessary measures to destroy quarantine facilities.
An administrative case has been initiated for violating the rules for combating quarantine facilities. By the decision of the administration, the owner of the product was fined 6,000 rubles.
