Full TV broadcasting in Karabakh is scheduled for end of this year

January 27, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, 35% of the territory of Karabakh is covered by television broadcasting. By the end of this year, TV broadcasting will cover the territory of Karabakh by 100%.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rovshan Rustamov at a seminar on the theme "Digital development & priorities in the field of transport in Azerbaijan".

"72% of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan have 2G networks, 40% - 3G and 50% - 4G. The laying of a 1,400 km fiber-optic cable has begun in Karabakh to create broadband Internet network. We’ve already switched to digital TV broadcasting. We plan to switch to full digitalization in radio by 2026," Rustamov added.
