December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 81,726 motor vehicles for $835.376 million for Jan-Nov 2021, according to the State Customs Committee.

Compared with the 2020 same term, the number of imported cars grew by 70.83% and their cost by 45%.

Over the past 11 months of 2021, the country imported passenger cars and other motor vehicles for passenger transportation – 76,348 cars for $704.75 million. In particular, 153 electric cars for $3.13 million and 11,464 hybrid cars for $69.726 million were imported.

Azerbaijan imported 5,024 motor vehicles intended for cargo transportation for $81.23 million, 141 special-purpose motor vehicles for $16.787 million, 213 motor vehicles designed to transport 10 or more people for $32.6 million.
