December 22, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of a patent for foreign migrants in Moscow has increased up to $80.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

He noted that this year the patent price will be increased up to 5,900 rubles ($80).

"About 6,000 rubles a month. This generally ensures fairly competitive payments to the budget from migrants and significantly more than self-employed citizens of Russia pay," Sobyanin emphasized.

According to the mayor, this decision was made in compliance with the instructions of the Russian president. Thus, amendments were made to the federal law, and from 1 January 2022 control over these migration flows will be tightened much.
